Lligwy Dolmen, Anglesey
Lligwy dolmen has a very unusual appearance since the capstone is set low over a pit, held up by eight uprights. This appearance may be closer to what most dolmens looked like originally with the uprights covered by earth, rather than exposed as we are used to seeing them.
